2005 - "After a two-and-a-half-year wait, everything finally came together." STS 114, The Return to Flight , launched at 14:39:00 UTC. However, due to debris falling at launch, but not hitting the spacecraft, on July 27 NASA grounded the fleet pending further investigations. The shuttle did not fly again until STS-121 on July 4 2006.

1971 - Apollo 15 launched. Fourth lunar landing and return mission. Commander.- David R. Scott, Command Service Module Pilot: Alfred M. Worden, Lunar Module Pilot: James B. Irwin.
