2005 - The second Chinese human spaceflight Shenzhou 6 launched. It carryied Fi Jnlng and Ni Hǎishng into orbit for five days.

1994 - Magellan spacecraft burns up in Venus' atmosphere

1964 - Voskhod 1 Launch. This was the seventh manned Soviet space flight. It was the first spacecraft to carry more than one person into orbit.
