2000 - EO-1,the first satellite in NASA's New Millennium Program Earth Observing series, launched from a Boeing Delta II Rocket at Vandenberg Air Force Base.  The EO1 will developed and validated instruments and technologies for space-based Earth observations with unique spatial, spectral and temporal characteristics.  Mission duration 12 years, 4 months and 3 days
